Langside Apartments – Lower This self catering apartment is a lower conversion and all main rooms are characterised by high ceilings and a feeling of space.There are two bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. A further fold-down bed is available. The kitchen is a "galley style" with upgraded units and leads directly into an alcove with a breakfast bar at one end and into a porch with access to the garden at the other. There is a bathroom with a bath and toilet and there is also a separate toilet off the hallway. The hallway itself is spacious and the visitor is greeted by a tartan carpet as a welcome to Scotland. The drawing room has been restored with a large fireplace and overmantle, the cornicing and central ceiling rose have been emphasised and the classical cream fringed curtains contribute to an overall colonial atmosphere. Langside Apartments – Upper  The apartment is an upper conversion and all main rooms are characterised by high ceilings and a feeling of space.There are two bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. A further fold-down bed is available. The kitchen contains modern Moben style units with a washing machine, tumble drier dishwasher and microwave available. There is also an old-fashioned "pulley" for drying clothes. The bathroom contains a bath and a separate shower cubicle. The living room contains two large sofas with dining table and chairs and there is a TV/Video and CD/Radio available together with some videos and CD's for guests' use. Once again, the cornicing and central ceiling rose represent the best of the internal architecture. |
